With the rapid development of internet,the application of internet as come in to every aspects of people's daily life. A large number of embedded devices begin to access on internet. Network analyst forecast that embedded devices will become more and more and that 70 percent information which transported on the internet will come from small embedded system in the future. More attention has been paid to the realization of embedded internet technology on processor, which used most widely in embedded devices, because of immense economy benefits. The study of embedded internet technology is an important part in the embedded research field.For this reason, the network communication in embedded system is researched and designed in this paper .First, a hardware system based on embedded ARM is built. The system hardware circuit including two proportions main circuit and peripheral support circuit, is designed. The main circuit includes system memory cell, debugger interface and so on.The peripheral support circuit includes input output interface, network interface and system power supply.Second , a network environment based on real-time operation system is built. It contains two proportions. One is to apply RTOS in ARM ,the process of posting RTOS UC/OS-II to ARM is expatiated.Finally,it also have a detail reaserch on some basic protocol such as ARP,ICMP,IP,TCP ect.Then ,it brings up some realtime implementing algorithms on the special requirement of embeded filed , and improves traditional implement algorithms without going againist protocol standard.
