The Research Of Public Information Service System In University

Digital campus utilizes the computer technology, networking communication technology to digitalize the information resources concerned with the school's teaching, R&D, management and logistics and integrate the information scientifically and normatively in order to standardize the management of users, resources and rights. Recently, the infrastructure of campus network has already been accomplished in most of the domestic universities. Also the office automation, the management system of students' academic performance, electronic library, the management system of textbooks, online learning system and office information system have been established. However, in most of schools, all these information resources are independent and isolated. In this case, redundant information has accumulated more and more; the share of information can not be entirely realized and phenomena of repetitive information input and inconsistency of information constantly take up. Therefore, it is pretty meaningful to build up public information service system in the campus in order to integrate all the information resources and display the public data through the system.The paper analyzes the condition and existed problems of the construction of the digital campus, proposed the principle, the goal, the designation of structure and the concrete designation of every module of the digital campus public information service system. In the blueprint of design, multiple applications of digital campus are integrated and served for the different types of users (teachers, students, instructors, administrators and students' parents individually. Different users can access the different levels of information after they enter the system.Due to the multiple numbers of service modules of school public information service system, many service items of each module, the dynamic changes of each service item, the detailed design of each module will lead to extremely large amount of work. So, the author focused more on designing the module of online examination system. The functions have been realized partially through programming. Through the thesis, the bigger picture is expected to be revealed.
