This paper is mainly about the research on morley's TV communication theory and its research methods.Combining with the current situation in China,it can be put into practice of our TV communication development.morley's TV communication theory examines TV communication basing on anthropological theory.Communicate on theory of Morley,emphasizes the communicat course of the message of the TV,how audience is decoding,code.Rating linguistic context theory taking family as unit,the theory of audience research,TV programme spread and analyse the TV as the consumption theory of "goods",research approach to adopt ethnography.Message recipient in audiences that he defines are different from traditional mass media and study, it regard三audience as class,race,exnationality,country factor multiple result of decision.He adopts the research approach of the ethnography,attempts through using linguistic context and real scene of rating of the TV to excavate the real fact behind audience rating.Combining with the TV communication current situation in China understanding he importance of TV in intercultural communication is very important in this field in china.Its localization can develop our TV communication theory and improve our TV industry.
