FieldBus is one of the most hot spot technologies in the modern automation field. The FieldBus technology possesses such advantages as opening characteristic, interoperability, intelligence ability and high dispersivity of system structure. Motivated by these inherent advantages, Fieldbus has been applied in industry control system frequently, and Fieldbus control system is formed. In this thesis, Fieldbus is analyzed systematically and the method of Fieldbus system design is introduced. We take EtherNet/IP, ControlNet and DeviceNet as example. Based on the analysis of coating paper production craft, the EtherNet/IP and ControlNet Fieldbus control system for the paper plant is designed, which is applied in a factory successfully in Shandong province. The network platform of NetLinx is applied in the system, which ensures system communication stability and improves the performance of system network. NetLinx Open Network Architecture uses open networking technology for seamless, top-floor to shop-floor integration. The networks in the NetLinx architecture—DeviceNet, ControlNet, and EtherNet/IP—speak a common language called the Common Industrial Protocol(CIP) and share a universal set of communication services. NetLinx architecture, part of the Integrated Architecture, seamlessly integrates all the components in an automation system from the simplest device to the Internet—helping you to improve flexibility, reduce installation costs, and increase productivity. NetLinx Open Network Architecture enables you to simultaneously control, configure, and collect information at any point. Considering the reliability and stability of the craft, we also designed redundant Controllogix system to improve the system's reliability and stability. Considering that the craft demands very high control precision on process variables, such as level, flow and temperature, software system based on PID and fuzzy PID algorithm is designed.Proved by system running, the system works well. Fieldbus System for the Production of coating paper is a successful example of Fieldbus system application in papermaking process area. |
