In the dark environment, the visual range of light thermal sight is between night-vision sight's and cooled thermal sight's, and it is portable easily, so it is the best selection at mid-range. Now more and more attention is payed to light thermal sight. In those west developed countries, uncooled thermal imaging has been applied 20 years ago. However, in our country, light thermal sights are luxury because of technical blockage form west countries. Basing on these reasons, supported by certain sponsor, how to design of imaging component, how to test the performance of light weapon thermal sight at low and high temperature and how to research of aid model for aim were introduced in this paper. In a word, the main work in this paper is to make a-Si uncooled thermal imaging system used in light weapon thermal sight. |
