The detector based on the uncooled infrared imaging technology, which has advantages of low power, light in weight, imporosity, short warming time and low cost, is paid attention. The uncooled imaging system could be made smaller, more flexible, higher reliability and long life time, because it requires neither mechanical scanning nor uncooling processing. And the cost is only the tenth of the cooled technology. Most of the former application of the infrared UFPA technology, which in military fields such as tracking,guiding,night vision and remote sensing etc,has gradually stepped into the civil market such as astrnometer detecting,safey protecting, fire controlling, industry thermometer and medication etc.Not only the primary development of the uncooled UFPA technology was got, but the research on such system has just srarted in our country.Mading of the production with the perfect imaging quality and intelligence is a progress direction of the thermal imaging device. After studying the structure of the uncooled focal plane array, operating principle and the process of infrared imaging, analyzing the composition and function of thermal imager and the signal flow in the whole infrared system, in this paper, infrared thermal imaging video digit processing based on TMS320C6X DSP and the NTSC/PAL video system conversion circuit is generated. At last, the two-point linear nonuniformity correction is accomplished on DSP. As following is primary coverage: (1)Based on the qualification of the image processing technology, the processing sys-tem for uncooled thermal imaging is designed and the input/output interface,the core module for image processing and time sequence are carried out. (2)The difference of synchronization signal between NTSC video system and PAL video system is analyzed in detail.The circuit of NTSC/PAL system conversion is developed to deal with the problem of international technical exchange for thermal image video signal. (3)After the generation reason of nonuniformity for infrared focal plane array is introduced, several correction algorithms and their mathnmatic models are put forward. The program of two-point correction based on C program is achieved to improve thermal image. The design of this thesis is convenient and feasible, so it will be widely applied in the future.This project accomplishes the development of the research for the uncooled thermal imaging processing system.
