Printed Circuit Board is an absolutely necessary part of modern electronic products, with the development of PCB technology; further needs are put forward to its manufacturing process and equipment. As the special equipment of PCB mechanical processing which is an important procedure of PCB manufacturing process, High Speed PCB Machine is very significant for improving PCB's productiveness and quality. PCB Engraving Machine meets the laboratories and R&D departments for rapid PCB model requirements, and wins the valuable time for the fierce competition of electronic products.This paper researches the key technology of High Speed PCB Engraving Machine based on the current advanced technology and the characteristic of PCB's mechanical processing. Upper software first reads and decodes Gerber processing data and Excellon processing data, and will track the location coordinates processing of information in the form of a vector drawing in the user interface, allowing users more intuitive operation.The characteristics and use of vectors, users can choose specific object processing, so that the PCB carving more flexible. In order to enhance the application software to process planning, a complete set of higher-level software processing parameters database to help users set up the processing parameters to meet the accuracy requirements and the processing of requests.The upper PC software is base on the LabVIEW, and used design method which is face to modularization. Through analysis the upper PC software's function, we divide it to several modularizations, so improve software's flexibility and maintainability. Upper Software makes the tool path effective optimization, and improves processing efficiency.In the system of the paper, a 32-bits fixed point of DSP TMS320F2812 is used as CPU, and incepting data from the higher PC with RS232. In addition, the comparative integral interpolator assisted with good accelerating and decelerating algorithm is used for the speed requirement of engraving machines. Through to SVPWM way the spindle control and achieve 20000 to 60000 rpm stepless speed regulation.In addition, the upper software has integrated the vision alignment. Circle Detection using Hough Transform, we can get the coordinate of PCB mark in pixel. Then circle fitting use least-squares method to getting subpixel coordinate, so content to the requirement of precision. Vision alignment has solved the problem of the low precision and complex operation with eyeballing. Vision alignment has great significance for improving the processing quality, processing efficiency.
