Supply Chain is a network structure and pattern, centered on core enterprise, linking the supplier, with the manufacturer, the distributor, the retailer and the customer. Supply Chain Management (SCM), however, refers to the design, the programme and the control of the information flow, logistics and fund flow in Supply Chain. An upper-level SCM is of great importance in enhancing competitiveness of modern enterprises, while the present situation of China's SCM is by no means a satisfaction. To help increase the management level of enterprises, with analysis of Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition (J2EE) technology and Model View Control (MVC) design pattern, as well as with the research on the SCM system of Xianyang Petroleum Steel Tube & Wire Rope Co., Ltd., this SCM system on basis of J2EE technology is realized.This paper introduces the content and features of SCM in detail by describing and analyzing the business process of SCM with Unified Modeling Language (UML). Firstly, in the design phase, after comparison, the technical scheme and overall structure of the target system is determined, with adoption of J2EE platform, MVC design pattern and Struts framework. Then, it inquires into the whole process of SCM system, from selection of Integrated Development Environment (IDE), to construction of the model, the view, the controller for MVC design pattern with Struts framework, and configuration of two files, which are web.xml and struts_config.xml. In the end, the prospect for the Supply Chain Management system is discussed.This system is characterized by the adoption of Standard MVC design pattern with three comparatively independent layers named model layer, view layer and control layer. This structure has an advantage in security of data, consistency of data, real-time provision of data and timely response of service, which enables this system run across different platforms, easily expanded and maintained, exhibiting advantages of J2EE framework and MVC design pattern in technique.
