On Study And Application Of Struts Framework Based On MVC Design Pattern In B/S Architecture Based System

Enterprise-wide information infrastructure has developed into B/S architecture from C/S architecture with the continuous developing of internet technology and fast advances in computation mode, The B/S architecture based multilayer designing,the respectively framework construction and software technology selection become more and more important with the requirement of J2EE based Info-SYS demand analysis complexity , R&D time cycle limitation, System stability, extensibility, maintainability.This paper begins with the application of Struts framework in WEB layer based on MVC design pattern. Detailed introduction of MVC design pattern and the Struts framework (which is the implements of MVC)are proposed at first, then detailed analysis of present multi-tier mode of B/S architecture is provided. Based on the forgoing introduction and analysis, this paper proposed a 5-tier architecture and put forward detailed analysis and design of the kennel tier, not only include mainstream technology suitable for each tier, but also include the recommendation of class libraries (package), which is significant to the designing and developing of B/S based application.TMS (Transportation Management System) project by Asia Logistics R&D Center Xi'an Branch is given as an example in the last section of this paper, and the detailed examples of 5-tier architecture and it's application is discussed in this section.
