| Entering into 20th century, distances among poeple has enlarged. Therefore, a new way for people to communicate with each other freely, smoothly, are urgently needed, instead of exchanging ideas face-to-face by themselves. In different networks, group of people can co-link easily, which causes the emerging of Virtual community. The fearures of the fictitious community are that to surfe the net clan looking for a partner who has the common goal in the network, to give a way for one and his good friend to chat together on some common interesting topics, all of these can be done conveniencely. The Virtual community has already occupied most space of network recreation. Its mutual function has shortened the interpersonal distance.Active Server Pages(ASP) offers a development environment to write server-end script. Using ASP, user can establish and operate Web server application, compose HTML page. ASP application is easy to develop.This paper mainly introduced the system structure and development process of the fictitious community, and its application in the commerce. It dscribed the application background and structure of database that fictitious community needed. Inside this paper, it established the foundation, and introduced the system design and realization. At the end, the paper summarize the development experience during the course, which can server a reference for future activities.The overall system design tasks are as follows: design a service-oriented smart client architecture and give out a solution related to the system security; design and implement table structure, wrote the SQL Service and the client program and the functional modules documents.
