| Virtual Reality technology (VR) is the emerging technology of rapid development in recent years and is one of the high and new technologies which have great influences on human. At present, it has been widely applied in various fields, for example, military, architecture, aerospace, medical and entertainment. But its application in mining has not been widespread yet. Since the simulation of3D laneway has a very positive meaning in mine safety, building a3D mine laneway system is very necessary. VR is an extremely complex technology system that is based on computer graphics, artificial intelligence, network technology, image processing, voice processing, sound technology, and high performance computing. It can simulate3D scenes under various circumstances. In order to digitalize mine, the simulation of3D laneway, an important part of mine, is the fundamental. Mine laneway simulation system utilizes the hardware and software of virtual reality technology to simulate the3D laneway by using the data of laneway, the establishment principles of tunnel and image data so that users can easily know the underground tunnels. This paper combines the VR technology with mine, studies the relevant technology and the implementation of the3D laneway visualization, and mostly accomplishes the simulation of the mine roadway. The main contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly, this paper presents the current literature status of mine simulation system, analyzes the main problems and proposes the corresponding countermeasures to those problems.Secondly, considering the complex mechanism of roadway system, this paper suggests the idea of segmentation with which the roadway can be divided into three parts:simple straight tunnels, curved tunnels and cross tunnels. We can get the skeleton diagram of laneway by processing the collected data, and then the3D laneway can be accomplished by loading the laneway sections in the corresponding place. Thirdly, this paper analyzes the algorithm of implementation for each tunnel, and then improves the existing algorithm to make the joining of roadway more natural. It mainly uses Bezier curves to join the tunnels together. This system is mainly composed of four parts:roadway data management, roadway segment generating, drawing sheets reading and roadway implementation.And finally, after the simulation of roadway, adding texture to a tunnel can be more realistic. Based on OpenGL a virtual simulation system of the mine roadway is developed by Visual C++6.0on Windows. |
