Process Modeling And Application On Software Configuration Management Supporting Cooperation

Software configuration management is a supporting process through the entire life cycle, which is the important guarantee for the success of software. In the software development process, the completion of a project task requires cooperation between members of different roles. At present, software configuration management don't perform a role in automation, process control, change management, and team coordination in middle or small enterprises , mainly because the current configuration management tools which are suitable for middle or small projects only support some configuration management activities, don't provide good support for the overall process.This brings forward an important demand to SCM: collaborative. Therefore, the support of more effective collaborative of the selection of configuration management tool is needed, which is also the starting point for the dissertation.This dissertation takes the agility of software configuration management process for middle or small enterprises as a target, researches the basic theory of software configuration management, leading into agility thought, analyzes the current configuration management supporting cooperation, improves a configuration management conceptual model. Then, based on the SCM conceptual model, under the guidance of the software configuration management pattern, draws out configuration management activities, modeling the configuration management supportting the collaborative, the model can not only clearly describe the whole process of configuration management, and reflects the different roles in the software configuration management process collaborative relationship.Then the dissertation discussses key issues in the process model:workplace management,changement management,process control,and so on.Lastly,taking use of the process model, the dissertation designes and develops the Software Configuration Management prototype system supporting cooperation based on the technologies and tools of Lotus, and applies it in the development of Coal Quality Management Information System (CQMIS).
