Construct Digital-library Literature Information Grid And The Research Of Enquiry System

With the process of digital information resources, the university libraries and witting units own more and more databases, including outsourcing and up-build by themselves. In order to obtain integrated digital resources, users have to spend lots of time in switching resources system. It wastes time and increases the risk of mistakes. This requires the digital library not only to be a information retrieval services system and resources systems based on digital resources but the user-centric dynamic mechanism, converging of information resources, information services and information activities. Information Grid provides a new platform for digital libraries to instauration information distribution and integrated applications across the Web, its main task is to organize various system resources reasonable, uniform the representation of resource, provide strategy of orientation, searching, and integrating information and its aim is to create scalable virtual distribution information service platform for providing information infrastructure of various integrated information services to resources users. Grid software use a variety of agreement to interlink heterogeneous information and reduce the complexity of the technology brought by diversiform information through advanced analyses, which greatly enhance the query efficiency of the grid.The paper firstly introduces the technology of information grid based on the meta-data, then probe into the application of information grid in digital-library literature information resources. We start from conforming heterogeneous information resources, Globus Toolkit, the existing grid network middleware, is the based research platform. In view of scattered distribution of the current database, the heterogeneous of internal realization, internal realization of cross-elusive search, we present across heterogeneous information service architecture based on the information grid and resources integration technology based on metadata, so that the heterogeneous information resources can be in accordance with standards organizations of grid framework and make up of the logical reunification resources, base on which we establishment the resource management and call mechanism to a single entrance resources to provide search services for user. Finally we bring forward two arithmetic: the one is unified platform for heterogeneous database, the other is based on the semantic grid service for matching algorithm to achieve the positioning of resources and information enquiries. The paper actualizes MDS service components. They are the basis for follow-up work.
