Research On Sharing Mode Of Grid-based Information Resources

With the development of information technology,especially the development of network,the ways of resource sharing have changed dramatically.Because of this,It's possible nowadays to share resources among libraries all over the country.But there are still some difficulties to reach the goal.As we all know,the administrative system of libraries is that everyone goes their own way in China,so the result is that each library use different management software and different database which cause problems of resource sharing.Grid is the technology that can solve the problem.Gird give an opportunity for development of resource sharing and at the same time many challenges.If we say that Internet connect the hardware of computer,web connect the pages,grid will connect all resources, including memory resources, computing resources, information resources,communication resources and other resources so as to eliminate information isolation, promote the information resource sharing among libraries.The text aims to introduce a new way of information resource sharing. First,the article introduces the development of information resource sharing in China and other countries, analyse the exist way of resource sharing and reveal the advantages and disadvantages through analysis of the successful sharing ways over the world.Second it introduces the concept,the features and the significance of grid,following with the analysis of examples which use grid to realize the resource sharing,Then,summarize the grid-based resource sharing mode,especially the technology mode.Last,discuss the trend of grid application in resource sharing.
