With the rapid development and prevalence of internet, remote monitoring is gained a new way based on TCP/IP communication mechanism, and which is the optimal choice to realize it with embedded system as the bridge. This paper is just to utilize the strong network support technique of Embedded Linux operating system to realize the Ethernet data acquisition aiming at monitor. This paper shows the software design and realization method based on embedded ARM CPU which is consisted of two circuit boards ARM 7 LPC2210 and ARM 9 S3C2410.It adopts open source Linux operating system which supports multi-task, network and scalability of software and hardware. LPC2210 is responsible for data acquisition via AD card and transmitting voltage data to S3C2410 through network; S3C2410 saves the reception data in sqlite database and dynamically displays acquisition data in forms. This paper gives the concrete and detailed scenario. It includes human-machine interactive interface, data storage and management system, data reception system, data acquisition which is based on C/S architecture.
