Along with the development of marine engine room automation, the computer based control technology obtained a widespread application in the marine engine room automation control systems, Thanks to its characteristics of distribution, open style, interconnection and high reliability, the industrial field bus has become the trend of development in marine engine room automation area. CAN bus is a kind of the serial industrial field bus, which has the high correspondence speed and extremely high anti-jamming ability, and it has been widely applied in main engine remote control systems and engine room monitoring and alarming systems. Refering to the AutoChief serial products of KONGSBERG Corporation, a Network Data Acquisition Unit is designed and realized in this thesis based on the DSP series core processing chip and CAN bus communication protocol.First of all, this article introduces the main engine remote control system composition, the type, the major function and the CAN bus frame form and the principle of work, After that combine with the main engine remote control performance and classification society rule this article have given the Basic Network Data Acquisition Unit design scheme, at the same time we has formulated the communication protocol according to control system's function, and also realized between the Network Data Acquisition Unit and the PC computer real-time communication using the CAN bus, PC computer through uses C# language design man-machine interaction operation contact surface, and it communicates with the data acquisition unit according to the formulate communication protocol.This data acquisition unit selects the DSP series processing chip TMS320F28335PGFA produced by TI Corporation as system's core processing unit. This article also has designed the peripheral interface circuit, the CAN bus communication circuit, the power circuit for it, the input interface circuit. At the same time in the environment of Code Composer Studio 3.3 software, we accomplish this system all initialization and all logical processing function code compilation, In addition, this article also compiled the debug and simulation software on host computer (PC-computer), used for simulate interactive information in the practical application, make things convenient for debug and consummate the system function.Stemming from universality consideration, this Data Acquisition Unit has provided some common standard communication protocol interfaces for use. These functions make it not only apply in the main engine remote control system, but also coincidence with the function demands of the engine room recurring monitor system and Marine Engine Room Simulator.
