With the development of mobile communication technology, modern medical care has a considerable development; a brand new field of mobile medical monitoring attracts people's attention. In this paper, we use existing Bluetooth module to design the wireless pulse monitoring system, to take the wireless and close transmission into pulse signal monitoring system, it makes the data transmission wireless, real-time and portable. The sensor carried by the patient records the pulse signal, and transfers the data to smart phone which can display the pulse waveform or frequency spectrum, through the phone we could extract some characteristics and make a simple health test; also the system has an alarm function, and the health report can be sent to the remote medical center.Hardware includes two parts, the pulse signal collector and smart phone. We use the reflective photoelectric sensor to collect the pulse signal, then put it through I/V conversion circuit, amplifier circuit, filter circuit and send it into MCU after the level adjustments. When the pretreatment is over, the data will be transferred to smart phone by the Bluetooth module in real time.In software we use C# language to design the system of pulse monitoring based on Windows Mobile. The system communicates with the sensor by using the Bluetooth device in mobile phone, we can observe all kinds of indicators on screen, when an abnormality is detected, and the system can automatically alarm to alert the patient or guardian so that the patient can get help in the first time. It can also quickly establish a connection with the health care client (such as hospitals, private physicians, health centers, etc.) if the condition permits, the measurement data will be passed to the remote database or doctors. It is conducive to medical information management and remote real-time monitoring or diagnosis, so that users can be able to get the effective diagnosis in home.Currently the Bluetooth technology has a good market prospect on wireless personal communication, but a very few applications in the medical field. The remote monitoring system for families and individuals has become a hot spot in medical technology, with the development of digital mobile communication technology; the mobile monitoring system will become a trend in future.
