Based On Bluetooth Technology, Data Transmission And File Transfer

As short-ranged wireless communications are used more and more widely nowadays. Bluetooth, which owns the merit of high security, is an inexpensive and effective solution of the short-range wireless communications.It is being applied in many aspects of daily work and life. It could be anticipated that Bluetooth will be an inevitable tool for people's life, just as the mobile telephone acts now.This paper introduces the Bluetooth system and network. After that, the paper emphasized in the protocals needed to achieve data transfer and file transfer.To acommplish data transfer, only the knowledge of HCI layer, commands, events and packet types are needed. But for file transfer, there are more Core&Profiles Specifications need to be realized. In this paper, they are all explained and analyzed particularly. Then the paper investigates the Bluetooth hardware device and the Bluetooth module it used. At last, the paper offered the Bluetooth demonstration program designed on the basis of the two solutions offered above.Based on the research of Bluetooth Core&Profiles Specifications, this paper offers the solutions of data transfer via HCI (Host Controler Inferface) and file transfer. A demonstration program is also devoleped with Visual C++ 6.0 of Mircosoft Visual Studio.
