With the emergence and popularity of smart phones, and especially the emergence of theability of accessing the internet, smart phones have become more powerful: chatting withfriends via wireless QQ, checking stock information, sports events, bus lines, e-mail, etc. Atthis time the phone is not so much a communication tool, as it is more like a pocket-sized"Pocket PC". However, as the smart phones bring great convenience for people's lives, theyalso have to face a lot of safety issues: message harassment or calls harassment, leaking ofconfidential information because of the lost of phones, etc. In summary, it is imperative toresearch and implement a comprehensive security protection system. Given Windows Mobilehas been widely used in electronic products such as smart phones, palm computers, etc, thisthesis aims to develop a security protection system which is based on Windows Mobile.On the basis of in-depth analysis of key technologies (such as hierarchical system modelof WinCE kernel which Windows Mobile is based on, the call and storage mechanism of theAPIs, COM mechanism, HOOK mechanism, the filtering of network packet, etc. ) requiredfor the development of the system, this thesis proposed specific solutions in connection witheach module of this system. The main work of this thesis is as follows:According to the security threats which clients often encountered, we have done athorough analysis of the system. And as a result, we have determined the functionalrequirements, the overall framework, the specific module division, the developingenvironment and tools of this system.Being different from the PC terminal, the mobile terminal is one kind ofresource-constrained systems. In order to save storage space as much as possible, the blackand white list which are used by SMS firewall and telephone firewall of the system werestreamlined as much as possible. In addition, the communication mechanism between the userinterface and the underlying function-implementing modules was introduced.This thesis introduced the four module (SMS firewall, telephone firewall, file firewall,network firewall) of the system. Firstly, this thesis gave the description of the above fourmodules and the IPO graph of corresponding module. Secondly, the processing flow of eachmodule was introduced, and lastly, this thesis focused on the key interfaces of each module.The function test of the system was done, and the test results were given in detail. Thetest results showed that the system had basically achieved the designed goals.
