Design And Implementation Of An Automatic Test-Tool For Boss System

With the rapidly development of software engineering, programmers and software project managers gradually realize the importance of the software test process in the software developing and life cycle. Different kinds of software test processes, theories and automatic test tools are used in order to assure the quality of software.However, since these theories and tools are designed for all software developing processes and each project has its own characteristics, these test tools cannot be very efficiency for a specific project. How to choose the right software quality assurance ways and a proper automatic test tool according the actual project is very important for a project's successful. Sometimes, companies and software teams use many people and money to develop automatic test tool for their project.Custom service sub-system is a important part of the BOSS(business and operation support system). Since new software requests always be urgent and there are not enough testers, and mainly use hand test, so the result of the test process is not satisfying. In this paper, with the analysis of many test cases and the characteristics of the custom service subsystem of BOSS, an automatic test tool for the sub-system of BOSS is designed and implemented. Using this automatic test tool makes it possible to improve the efficiency of test group and to ease the testers' works. And it helps finishing the test of new module in short time.
