| The name and address information system (phase 2) proposed by China Post is a reconstruction and upgrade to the previous version according to market needs. As post transactions is accelerating its pace in the information process, the current system is insufficient to provide services for the incoming large amounts of users and queries. Multi-degree and further investigation of data products arise as an acute problem and thus the development of NAI system (phase 2) needs to be completed at once.This paper is based on the actual work contributed by the author in the project of name and address information (NAI) system (phase 2). It mainly describes aspects of system such as requirements, rough and detailed design, technology and actual utilization of the system. This paper firstly deals with the requirements of the system and subsequently partition is into modules. Each module is discussed in detail. Software functions, software systems, database design and hardware configurations are also introduced in this paper. Besides presenting a thoroughly analyze, we also give notations of actual utilization for each module and technology. At last the condition of the running system is given.The name and address information system(phase 2) realizes the uploading, quality control ,data analyzing and mining functions by name and address centers distributed at different regions and scale(state, province, city and country). The gathering of NAI and composing of business letters are also specified by the system thus to establish fundamentals for paid information and inter-province account settlement. |
