With the development of economy and innovation of media, society and market call for more educational programs. Educational programs take more responsibility for diffusing knowledge and educating the public by combining audile and visual devices. In recent years, educational programs emerge in large quantity. However, few of them embody high quality. Most of them are similar and lack of competition. Researches on educational programs at home lacking in theoretical instructions are relatively lagging behind. Therefore, it is necessary for us to learn the successful experience from the analysis and conclusion of the classic column of the educational programs.Lecture Room is born at the same time with CCTVpro . After 7-year-development, it has become classic column of CCTV by means of its high rating. It has gained many awards within two continuous years. In 2006, Lecture Room is one of the top ten programs in CCTV and the best program in the aspect of humanities, arts and social sciences. In 2007, it is one of the national excellent programs and one of the top ten programs for innovation in CCTV. Meanwhile, it is imitated by a lot of other programs with the form of lectures. The great influence of Lecture Room roots in its specific characteristics. Applying literature study to the research on the development of Lecture Room, analyzing its specific characteristics through experimental study, and probing the formation of its specific characteristics by means of relevant theories such as aesthetic and communication study, this paper aims to probe the direction for educational programs and provide some significant reference for the enhancement in quality of the educational programs .
