The "experts' lecture room" has gradually become the CCTV's brand column after it revised since 2004,based on the script of the TV Column "experts' lecture room" ,the book series of "experts' lecture room" has become an almost well-known brand. In October2004,Zhonghuashuju published YanChongnian's "lecture about Twelve Emperors of Qing Dynasty",who is the expert of the history of Qing Dynasty,this book sold very well. Afer that, the book series of "experts' lecture room" basing on the script of the TV Column "experts' lecture room" created many myths in the book industry. In this paper,I attempt to analyze and conclude the reason of best-selling , then to analyze its revelation to the entire book industry and the problem. I used the way of case analysis and content analysis.The whole dissertation is composed of five parts, The first part is the introduction, it describes the well-selling situation of the book series of "experts' lecture room" ,which provideds a pretext for the analysis.The Second part mainly defines the nature of the book series of "experts' lecture room", It is television-book. And describe the development process of television program "experts' lecture room"and television-book briefly.The third part mainly analyzes the reason of best-selling in the communication perspective , which is the most important part in this thesis. Using Lasswell's "5W" mode, mainly analyze the reason of best-selling in terms of the communicator,the media, the content, audience, communication strategy. I think the speecher's unique style and personal charm,the recovery of traditional culture,multimedia interaction,the cooperation between book and television,marketing strategy are the best-selling factors. It also analyzes the case of "YuDan Fever".The fourth part mainly explores its revelation to the entire publishing industry and the problem. For example, in order to adapt to the changing needs of readers,how publication integrate elements of other media and reflect on "fast food" cultural consumption, duplicate publication and so on.The last part is the conclusion,which said that the book series of "experts' lecture room" comes from media interaction. It shows that it's an important reference for bestsellers to take other media to meet the audience's need. Although its publishing mode is not perfect now, I believe it could develop great well in the future.
