Current conveyor, as a circuit component which has lots of characters and works as operational Amplifier, has been widely used in analog integrated circuit. The second generation current controlled current conveyor, which is derived from current conveyor, has not only the characters of current conveyor, but also the characters of OTA.Firstly, This paper simply introduces the current mode circuit and its characters; And compares current mode circuit with voltage mode circuit; And the presently development of the current mode circuit. Secondly, it systematically introduces the principle of the first, the second, and the third generation current conveyor. Secondly, Based on analyzing deeply the literature: 1. A designing of double two-order filter based on CCCII-C Is presented. The more CCCII in the circuit, the filter parameter controllable degree of freedom is bigger. 2. A new way to design nth-order CCCII multifunction filter by signal flow graph and active simulation of passive gradient network based on D type and E type FDNR is presented. The results of the examples and PSPICE simulator show the advantages and availabilities of this method. 3. Designing a sinusoidal oscillator based on a single CCCII, which has simple structure; based on two CCCII, which has the characteristics of the oscillation condition and oscillation frequency are independently controlled. Introducing a sine wave oscillator by signal flow graph. And a novel multiphase sinusoidal oscillator based on MOCCCII is also presented, which can generate n current and voltage sinusoidal signals equally in amplitude and spaced in phase. The circuits are not only easy to integrated , but also adaptable. By the PSPICE simulation, all the results verified the circuit is right.
