This paper chiefly studies the theories and the designmethods of analog circuits based on the second-generationcurrent controlled conveyors (CCCIIs), especially the designmethods of high-order analogy active filters, and simulateslots of examples with PSPICE program. Firstly, the paper' sintroduction summarizes the situation of the integratedcircuit (IC) industry and describes the applications ofcurrent-mode circuit in the design of the analogy IC,especially describing the development future of currentconveyor in the analogy IC; then the paper introduces the basicconception and development history of the filter, andintroduces the transfer function feature of the second-orderfilter; thirdly, it studies the out-feature of the currentconveyor family and the realized circuits of CCCII with BJT;fourthly, it studies the circuits based on CCCII, including thecontrolled sources of active network, signal arithmeticcircuit analogy, passive components analogy, multiplying anddevising unit, oscillators and filters, and simulates some ofthe resulting circuits by PSPICE program; lastly, itcontinuously studies the methods for the design of thehigh-order active filters, including the design methods of high-order active filters derived from passive RLC network,n-order current-mode filter based on MOCCCII with multi-inputand single-output and n-order current-mode filter derived fromthe Signal Flow Graph, among which emphatically presents theindirect methods for the design of high-order filters derivedfrom operational simulation of the passive RLC network, and inwhich including: the design of active filters derived from thelow-pass or high-pass passive RLC network and derived from theband-pass or band-reject passive RLC network. Simulations ofthe resulting circuits based on CCCII by the PSPICE program giveresults which agree with the theoretical results, which showsthe feasibility of the presented method.
