The mine equipment manual selection does not adapt the information age now. Using the Internet technology, the spatial information resources is issued on Web for the user browsing and use, is the inevitable trend of mine equipment selection development. The Microsoft Corporation has released Microsoft Visual Studio.NET, which is a perfect aggregation of programming language and development tools to make up a new generation of net application and desktop application. It is very easy to create the new efficient and distributed Web project by .NET. This has provided a new mentality to develop mine equipment selection system—large-scale mine equipment online selection system based on .NET.In this paper, the design and development of large-scale mine equipment online selection system which meets the practical demand is based on the analysis and summary of similar domestic and foreign software and Web-based selection system. The main achievement is that the mine air compressors selection subsystem and the mine electric locomotive selection subsystem are developed.First base on the demand analysis from the user and developer's angle has been carried on, the program planning and the system design to the large-scale mine equipment selection system has been done, basic function has been proposed the system should achieve. The system function module includes: registration module, selection module, technical determination module, product information module, auxiliary module, cartography module.The B/S pattern three structure system, Windows2000 Server operating system, the Web server (IIS) and the development environment of Visual Studio.NET have been used based on the existing network infrastructure. The establishment and the management database are realized by Microsoft Access 2003. The connection of the database is adopted the ADO.NET module in ASP.NET and dynamic cartography function is realized by CADAA (CAD ActiveX Automation). Thus the technology based for overall system's establishment has been laid.The fitting performance curve equation method has studied with emphasis. On the basis of analysis selection computation theory method, establishing function with least squares method principle, the performance curve equation is achieved that the electric locomotive selection computation will need by inputing empirical datum, and the error analysis and the supposition examination to the fitting equation has been carried using mathematical statistic's knowledge. Thus mine electric locomotive selection theoretical model was established. Then the shaping module has been developed according to the selection flow.The possibility of the network transmission to glance over the CAD engineering plat was mainly explored, and one kind method which can realize the free browsing of the network has been pointed out based on Autodesk Design the Review2008. Parametric drawing and printing graph as DWF document which is suit for network environment is realized. Therefore, the function of browsing the the engineering plat drawed by AutoCAD in the homepage was developed and the engineering module was entirely developed.This article elaborated the large-scale mine equipment selection system systematically, from system technology support, the selection of development environment, the design of system project, the mine air compreesors selection subsystem and the mine electric locomotive selection subsystem's module design, the selection theoretical foundation, development and test of various functional module, and so on, the research elaborated system's entire developing process, and then system's reliability and the stability has confirmed with the application example demonstration.
