The technology of modern power electronic, embedded device and field bus constitute the logic control unit. It can take the place of the traditional relay logic control electrocircuit. The computer order directly control the exterior load such as the contactor. This method can avoid the current multilevel drive. In this way, it can not only simplify the design of contact control of the electrocircuit of electric locomotive, decrease exterior connection line and increase the reliability of the system, but also simplify the control system of the electric locomotive, improve the flexibility of control system application, shorten the period of the design and experiment of the electric locomotive, achieve the interchangeable ability of the control system. Therefore, in this paper the scheme to realize the LCU in the SS3B electric locomotive is researched.The first part of this paper introduces the quality of the controlled object, and the design scheme of the LCU. This part also includes the illumination of the technologic specialty that will be used in actual engineering project. In the second part, the system constitution of the LCU, the working performance and application environment of the microcomputer, and the trapezia chart that incarnates Boolean calculation relationship of the controlled object, are relatively detailedly elaborated. To meet the operating demand of the electrocircuit of electric locomotive, the third part analyzes the working principle and composing structure of the software |j,C/OS-II, which is imported as the real-time operating system (RTOS). In this part, I also illustrate the whole transplant process of this RTOS software in the microprocessor MB90543.And based on the successful transplanting working; I give the realization of the software timer. Theforth part of this theme make it clear the structure and specialty of the display unit of SS3B-LCU according to the virtual system control signal. In the fifth part, I give my perspective about the fault diagnose content that needed to improved after the LCU is imported. In the end, I summarize the content of this thesis and draw a conclusion. Moreover I indicate the prospect and assumption, which is related to the more research in this study direction.
