The demand of people specialized in embedded technology is increasing in the society, therefore the major of embedded application technology is established in every universities and career training colleges. But the requirement for the ability of programming and the knowledge of hardware is relatively high for students in this major while the students in career training colleges do not have strong educational background and the market is lacked of start-up facilities. Therefore the educational platform for assistance is extremely meaningful for students to start the effectively study of embedded MCU.In this project, the embedded MCU educational platform is developed to assistant education based on the theory of modular using graph controls instead of complex programming to study and research. This platform is divided into two parts which are software platform and hardware platform. And this platform has the ability for the study in theory and the research in embedded developing. This platform can be used commonly and extended easily. This platform has two kinds of users which are student users and teacher users. The platform for student users mainly for theory study and contains graph controls for edit, compile and download. Student users can do the study and research of MCU expediently. The platform supplies the interface for teachers which enable teachers add new MCU stuffs for students'study.Hardware educational platform contains core circuit board and expansion board. The core circuit board contains miniature systems, power switches and so on for maintaining the normal work. So the only thing needed when MCU is replacing is to replace core circuit board. Expansion board contains every usual periphery modules in embedded MCU which can be shared for several types of MCU. This report introduces detailed characteristics of the design for this platform software which solve many problems for example the problem about the unity of edit, compile and download and the problem about adding new stuff into platform by teachers. The application examples of students users and teachers users are supplied to show the stability and credibility of this platform's normal work. Difficulties of learning embedded system for student is effectively decreased and the performance of teaching embedded systems is improved.
