The fieldbus control system is one of hotspots in automatics currently. It attracts more and more attentions by domestic and international manufactures and users. And today, there are more than 40 kinds of fieldbus standard. Because of multi-standard and non-transparent, the cost of application and replacement is expensive. One of the fieldbus key technologies is their interoperability, and the reunification of fieldbus technology is the desire of all users.There are a large number of academic studies on ACM. The contents of research is basically comprised of ACM algorithm design, modeling and simulation of the ACM, the basic characteristics of ACM, as well as their realization in the system design of the application areas. However, we have not found a suitable starting point for applying such technology to CNC system. In the issue, the using of method of ACM in the development CNC system will be the first time.Therefore, facing open CNC system real-time and open, as well as ACM engineering significance of the theory of exploration and research, we adopte a method of system interconnect structure analysis based on ACM to analyze design the fieldbuses abstract model of CNC system, and apply SOPC hardware/software co-design system development methods to achieve fieldbus.Therefore, the major work of this paper is: In theoretical research, the study of the basic theory of ACM, includes the classification and the properties of ACM. Boldly applies to the fieldbuses abstract model of CNC system through this method. In engineering practice, fieldbus based on ACM realizes many protocols including the physical layer, data link layer and application layer protocol by adopting SOPC hardware/software co-design and using tools of embedded EDA such as QuartusII, SingnalTapII and NiosII. Finally, the good communication of fieldbus AFB based on ACM in NC system is verified by the simulation. AFB is a good example of applying SOPC to the NC fieldbus.
