Through monitoring and evaluation to the bridge structure, bridge health monitoring system analyses and evaluates the life of bridge,and provides a scientific basis for decision-making of the conservation, maintenance and management of the bridge.It's the focus of bridge health monitoring to realize real-time remote monitoring and information sharing of large bridges. In this paper, it is the starting point to realize remote collection and information network sharing. The form of data collection network and the data processing methods of bridge health monitoring system are studied.First, this paper systematically study important position, design methods and principles of the bridge health monitoring data acquisition system. Study and propose the programme of realizing remote acquisition and transmission: to establish bridge health monitoring system based on the Ethernet, and then incorporates the Ethernet into the Internet, use the Internet to provide resources and conditions to establish a regional and even national Bridge health monitoring systems. Thus, enables real-time monitoring systems combined with modern network technology, and realizes remote monitoring and information network sharing In the true sense.Secondly, on the basis of comparative analysis to the fieldbus and Ethernet, designs bridge health monitoring system based on the CAN-Ethernet, and designs the CAN-Ethernet gateway. In this bridge health monitoring system, using CAN bus links the scene monitoring and control equipment, and through the CAN-Ethernet gateways, equipment network and information network are linked up organically. Thus, realizes remote data collection and transmission of the bridge monitoring. By this programme, on the basis of existing networks, gives full play to their advantages of industrial Ethernet and CAN fieldbus, and realizes the network connect of the entire bridge monitoring control system.Finally, a preliminary study of the approach of bridge health monitoring information processing is done.In order to increase information processing accuracy, Kalman filtering technology is applied to bridge health monitoring. To this end, based on the vibration theory, establishs a bridge vibration model and discretes.According to the actual discrete-time systems, the estimation methods of the entire bridge structure vibration state is given by Kalman filtering. Data fusion is done to obtain more precise estimation than Kalman filtering. The simulation results show that discrete Kalman filtering can be more effective in removing sensor noise, and information after fusion is more precise than a single sensor estimation .
