In order to meet the needs of EcoCoal in electric power market, many new coal terminals tends to introduce foreign coal blending technology to enhance the plus service of the terminals. The newly terminals with coal blending function are quite different from the traditional ones in many aspects, operation technics, plane layout and production operation. So, many new problems appear during designing and constructing periods of the newly terminals. Based on Yichang CBF project, the paper analyses the solutions to these problems and make contribution to the construction of such kind terminals.First, the paper introduces the background and significance of CBF project, then it expatiates the develpoment condition and existing problems of coal terminal logistic system nowadays, besides, the paper conculdes the methods of system simulation and the achievement made already, at last it points out the main problems exists in system simulation.Second, the paper introduces the knowledge about the conformation, operation equipment and operation technics of coal terminal. Based on CBF project, the paper gives a detail analysis on logistic system and operation technics of freshwater power coal terminal.Third, the paper analyses the theory and software for modeling, Queuing Theory and Witness. After that the paper models and simulates the process of CBF system in Yichang Zhicheng terminal based on Queuing Network Theory and Witness, and then realizes planar computer dynamic simulation which can simulate the dynamic process. At last, the author finds out the optimum lowest capacity and the choke points of the system based on the simulation model of the operation technics, and then brings forward the relevant improving strategies.
