Application Research Of Workflow Technology In Cooperative Office System

With the development of information technology and computer technology, workflow technology application becomes more and more common. The most of daily office processes almost all relate to the workflow processing. However, the traditional office automation system does not separate business process from business logic, even if there is no change in business logic, but only with change in business process, the procedure must be revised to meet the actual demand, resulting software lacks the necessary flexibility, and reusability is not high. In addition, with the rapid development of information technology today, the changes in office process show dynamic variability, therefore, office automation system should have the flexibility to adapt to these changes. And workflow technology provides strong technical support for developing a flexible system, workflow technology combining with office automation system overcomes these weaknesses very well, realizes the separation of business process and business logic, and realizes business process dynamic variability.Until nowadays there have been a lot of relative mature workflow management systems in workflow application field. Under the background, it is still practically significant to design an appropriate workflow management system during cooperative office system development.At first, the thesis introduces the origin and development, the basic concept, the current situation at home and abroad of the workflow technology, analyses workflow management system framework and workflow reference model which put forward by Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC), designs a jBPM workflow management system and lightweight J2EE framework based cooperative office system framework.Then, this thesis gives a workflow engine design of workflow management system in the process definition, process control and external interface, and then presents the workflow model design, implements cooperative office system framework based on the jBPM workflow management system, using lightweight J2EE to meet the enterprise demand for flexible business processes and the deployment of diverse environment.Finally, according to the actual requirement, one examine system is implemented using the workflow technology. The developed system created a very good effect in the actual use and increased office efficiency for the enterprise.
