Because the popularization of the Windows series operating system makes the graphic operation rooted in the hearts of the people, at the same time as information white goods, handheld device, wireless terminal, complicated industry equipment accuse of the rapid development, the demand of embedded system increase gradually, and require even high. To offer the embedded system one friendship convenient and reliable GUI system becomes urgent demand.The thesis regards the control system of degreasing as the background of application, and we improved the control system on the basis of the degreasing control system which was already researched and developed, then we raised a project that S3C2410 is selected as embedded processor, Linux used popularly based on ARM9 is selected as embedded operation system, Qt/Embedded is selected as embedded GUI to build the man-machine interface of the degreasing control system, and the old control project of IPC and PLC with the field executed devices is replaced by this project. The paper regards the GUI system in the embedded system as research object, from the theory, technology, design and application three levels to carry on research and will put the emphases in Qt/Embedded system especially.This article introduced the latest development of Embedded Linux, and attached importance to the mature and widely used GUI development environment Qtopia based on Qt/Embedded. Combining with the development experience, the procedure of Qtopia application development based on Embedded Linux was described in detail, analyses the questions appeared during moving the application to the object platform, and gives some methods about these questions.The main work of the paper is researching the application in the process of building the man-machine interface of the degreasing control system. The paper have researched and implemented the following items: the building of the Qt/Embedded development environment on the local machine and the object machine, the configuration, compiling and writing to the ARM platform of VIVI, the configuration, compiling and writing to the ARM platform of Linux kernel, the making and writing to the ARM platform of the file system with the application program of the Qtopia graphic interface, the development of application program of the degreasing control system based on Qt/Embedded, and the development of some device drivers.The graphic user system in the degreasing control system has such special demands as independent process and cross-platform capacity, therefore Qt/Embedded is chosen as supporting platform. The two key questions about the embedded development of Qt/Embedded are put forward. One is cross-platform transplanting the other is localization.In the end, summarize the work done in the paper, and giving some advices for the coming research.
