With the development of Science and technology, there has been an fierce competition in both domestic and foreign markets, which make the product upgraded frequently and the demand increases for a great diversity of product, it make the machine manufacturing way develop as a way of multi-variety and small batch .Manufacturing production way has already changed from mass production way to Just in time and lean manufacturing way, and will transform to computer integration manufacturing and agile manufacturing way. Production method's transformation make the facility layout computerize becomes frequently. In this paper we study the computer-aided facility layout of the production system primarily on the basis of the existing facility layout technology , the concrete work we completed as follows:(1) System Layout Planning combining with the genetic algorithm for the the plant layout. In this paper first we use computer for the Analysis about the logistics relationship and the non-logistics relationship of the operation units, and obtain the integrated relationship of the operation units, then established the mathematical model of the plant layout, use the improved genetic algorithm to achieve the optimal layout of the plant. Use this methods we can obtain the satisfied preliminary layout design for the medium-scale layout problems.(2) Realize the detailed layout of the facilities in the workshop. Analyze the requirements and goals of the workshop facilities layout and simplified the constraints reasonably, established the mathematical model of workshop facility layout. Then improve the genetic algorithm, use float code replace the binary code ,using the center coordinate of the facilities to compose the chromosome of the genetic algorithm , at last realize the detailed layout of the facilities in the workshop.(3) According to the case of the layout, we study the parameter set problem of the genetic algorithm, including the size of the population, cross probability, mutation probability, iterative generations etc, and discuss the convergence of the fitness value and the termination of judgement conditions .In this paper we use the case study proves the practicability of the model and the Scientific of the Algorithm, which make the process and result of facility layout about product system more reasonable, scientific and efficient.
