Because of the impact of the layout on material handling cost, output and produc-tivity of the competition, designing a plant layout is an important module in the process of manufacturing system planning. With the development of economic globa-lization, manufacturing enterprises are facing an increasingly fierce competition, lead-ing to the changes of the enterprise demand. So this dissertation presents a research on the facility layout design from the view of the dynamic facility layout.Firstly, the continuous dynamic facility layout problem is analyzed. And a mixed integer linear programming(MILP) formulation is presented for the dynamic facility layout problem with unequal-area departments and budget constraints, a genetic algo-rithm combining the laying approach addressed in the dissertation is applied to the construction of a good solution. Then, the initial scheme is obtained.Secondly, a model for evaluating layout is established according to the idea of the analytic hierarchy process(AHP) and fuzzy integrated evaluation. It needs to build an evaluation index system of the workshop facility layout and determines the weight of various factors. The comprehensive importance and membership of factors about the evaluation target is evaluated. So the layout scheme is obtained with the method of fuzzy integrated evaluation.Finally, taking the complexity of the practical facility layout problem and the fi-niteness of the abstract process of mathematical model into considering, a layout sys-tem is established to support the decision-making process. The system is designed and implemented at the angle of three-dimensional visualization human-computer interac-tion adjustment. The general framework for the layout design of the system is given initially, and the outline of each module is designed on the basis of the analysis of the layout system demand. The function realization of the system and the operation sample are given to test and verify.This dissertation deals with foundation of an optimization model for continuous dynamic facility layout, design of and solutions to the algorithm, evaluation of the so-lutions and application of the computer simulation technology to adjust the initial layout scheme interactively.
