Data, which is the essential element of information, occupied an important position in the information society. As enterprises increasingly rely on their core business systems, the traditional storage architecture (Direct Attached Storage, DAS) has been unable to meet the needs which operating system produced the growing mass of business-critical data storage. At the other hand, When the enterprise's core business systems in the face of such as earthquakes, floods or terrorist attacks and other natural or man-made disasters caused accident, the enterprise business-critical data stored in the DAS framework will face the risk of comprehensive damage, and these data for some enterprises is the most valuable asset, data loss can not be tolerated. Under this circumstances, storage area network (Storage Area Network, SAN) as the representative of network storage technology have emerged as an effective solution to mass data storage and remote disaster recovery.This thesis combines with the special needs of a bank's R&D center, and focus on the related key technologies when resolving the IP-based SAN data island problems and the data remote replication problems. Mainly completes the following works:(1) Research on the current major network storage technology, and focus on the iSCSI Storage Technology based on the IP network.(2) Research the related concept of disaster recovery and the key technologies of data-level disaster recovery: remote data replication technology, and put forward a remote disaster recovery system model based on iSCSI technology.(3) Aim at the remote data disaster recovery and future expansion needs of a bank's R&D center open platform environment, designed a remote data disaster recovery system based on the IP-SAN and discussed the realization principle of subsystems and system architecture in detail.The thesis reaches a conclusion that the existing bank's R&D center open platform environment is not conducive to realize remote data disaster recovery, and basis on the former text, we designed a remote data disaster recovery system based on IP-SAN. This production will offers some improved measures to building multi-sites data disaster recovery system in the bank' R&D center in the future.
