Penicillin fermentation process is a biochemical process with strong nonlinear,time varying and complex relativity. The efficiency of penicillin fermentation is decided by the states of controlling in the fermentation process. Thus the study about the modeling and controlling is of practical significance for penicillin fermentation process.The application of the traditional control techniques is difficult to acquire good result in the biotechnological process optimization control because some vital variables of that process are difficult to measure. The artificial intelligence (AI)is used to solve some problems of the optimization in the biotechnological processes. An obvious merit of the proposed method is to incorporate the rich experience of experts and engineers to the optimization without modeling the system or the process in form a mathematical view. In addition, it is difficult to control the MIMO coupling system with PID controllers, such as the fed-batch fermentation system.Based on the analysis of a large number technological documents, we consider Human Simulated Intelligent Controller (HSIC) designed according to the lowest level (Execution level) of Multilayer Hierarchical Intelligent Control, and it directly identifies and summarizes the experience, skill and reasoning logic by intuition of experts, so it of the following characteristics: simplicity and practicability, high precision and strong robustness.Therefore, aiming at the optimal control problem of penicillin fed-batch fermentation processes, this thesis proposes a method for designing the optimal control strategies of penicillin fed-batch fermentation processes based on Simulating Human Intelligent Control Theory. The object of this paper is the penicillin fermentation process. And it has established the dynamic mathematical model for specific growth rate and pH value which can reflect the fermentation process factually.The Human-Simulated intelligent coordinated control and Human-Simulated intelligent fuzzy control are incorporated into the optimization control of the fermentation process for simulation. The fermentation appending stuff system has been carried the dynamic decoupling control into execution.This algorism has accomplished intelligent disposal in the fermentation process control and achieved purpose of the optimization control for the fermentation production.Based on the study of modeling and optimization technology of fermentation processes, this article exploits the characteristic of the self-made ActiveX control component supported by the KINGVIEW configuration software, uses the Visual Basic developing algorithm control component, the configuration software calls the control component to achieve the dual- function of both host PC administration and control. This article provides reference for the application of advanced control method to the actual production process, which is of important practical significance.
