Electric Vehicle Component energy, the development of renewable energy, distributed generation ever-increasing government's attention, and energy storage embarrassed the development of these developments. Super-capacitor is a novel energy storage component developed in recent years. It integrates the advantages, such as the high power density characterized by conventional capacitors, the energy density characterized by rechargeable batteries, the fast charge discharge performance and the long life, thus the component is expected to be a novel power source with high efficiency and practicability.Super-capacitors are always connected in series to obtain high energy storage. However, the uniformity of Super-capacitors can't be guaranteed, and the variance will aggravate when used. The variance is main cause of low useful life and high failures. So the inspections and track records of the Super-capacitors are terribly necessary.The paper has designed a real time system to inspect parameters of the Super-capacitors, based on the distributing of the Super-capacitors and specialties of Super-capacitors. The MCU of system is PIC18F458 and the system is based on distributed CAN bus and RS-485 bus. Multiplex voltages and nodes data can be accurately obtained from the system. And these collected data will be transmitted to PC. What's more, these data will be displayed, stored, analyzed and managed in PC.The protocols of application layer guarantee the stabilization, accurateness and credibility of data transfer, based on specialties of the data and test nets. LabVIEW has been used to design the data collection system in the PC. And the system is used to record, display, and analysis the data.
