Along with the rapid development of the modern society, there are more and more outdoorand countryside facilities and equipments in the natural environment likely to be influenced anddamaged by a variety of factors. In order to maintain and repair on time, we need to monitorthese facilities and equipments, so the new automated monitoring equipment is bound to be alot of use. The system of automatic remote MMS camera monitoring is based on solarphotovoltaic power supply mode. It is the best solution for outdoor real-time monitoring andremote picture transmission. Besides that, its application and research have far-reachingimplications.This paper analyzes remote MMS camera monitoring requirements, the schematic designof each functional module, and video files to read the stored procedures, MMS and theLM3S1968microcontroller based on the ARM Cortex-M3core, with a solarphotovoltaic-powered, super capacitor energy storage surveillance camera, and MMS wirelesssupporting the monitoring system. The paper first analyzes the development status and trends of solar-powered remotesurveillance camera system at home and abroad, the program of MMS design, and the outdoorpower supply using photovoltaic solar power technology, the super capacitor energy storage, color screen filming techniques and the use of MMS technology transfer photo files. Secondly, the design analysis of the LM3S1968microcontroller based on the ARM Cortex-M3core,ZM460digital camera module, the TR800MMS Transceiver Module, MAX669photovoltaiccharge and discharge super-capacitor energy storage controller hardware solutions are presented. Then, the paper focuses on the hardware implementation of the program, including processormodule, a digital camera module, MMS Transceiver Module, photovoltaic charge and dischargesuper-capacitor energy storage controller features’ schematic design, commissioning andexperiment, and debugging the system. Finally, there is a summary of the paper and the futuredirection for the research.
