With the fast development of mobile telecommunication technology , speech communication and short message service that are both the basic means of the GSM system now are stepping in a period of fast increment. Using mobile telecommunication technology above to implement remote control has more and more research value in theory and Practice.Synthesizing the technology of mobile communication networking wireless data communication automatic control and so on, I succeed to implement the system of super long-distance and wireless monitoring based on the GSM. It can be adopted to the cases that needs mobile dispersing non-watching of the monitoring collection points. It also has the features of wide covering in regions flexible and dynamic for monitoring. So it can be widely used in many phases, such like Water-Status weather automobile and door guard against theft, automatic reading meter system and control industry machine for operating normally. The most merit of it is that it doesn't limit in rang of region and wirelessly interact communication.The article firstly introduces the development of GSM and its constitution of operations; Secondly described in detail of short message which includes its basic conceptions feature application nowadays and developing in future; Thirdly introduced its service and service elements its standard and agreement the flow chat of a successful transport short message AT instruction and its PDU mode ,etc; Finally introduced the realization method of the system in hardware and software. The article emphasizes on the monitoring system how to control the sending and receiving of short message, the realization of speech communication as well as PC how to communicate with MCU through the serial port.The design aims to the users who use mobile phone to control the industry device for operating normally through exchange their information. I have completed hardware design of micro-control system, software writing and debugging. It mainly adopts MCU and the GSM module TC35 to achieve. MCU transports the data which are got from checking the machine periodically to user's mobile phone through TC35, the users can consult and judge what to do; Users send the correlative command by mobile phone and MCU receives the command and interprets it, then controls the machine to work correlatively, consequently implements the function of the whole system.
