Is'so common for the gyroscopes to become a key part of the Inertial Navigation System. And there's the most currently application especially for Liquid-Floated Gyroscopes. In general, it is expected to be greater than 0.1 o/h for tactical bomb applications, falling in the extent between 0.01 o/h and 0.001 o/h for cruise missile applications, and less than 0.001 o/h for ballistic missile applications. There are many design parameters that need to be taken into account to decrease the drift of gyro sensor output. Among them, the temperature of liquid is the most parameter, and we should do more effort to measure and control the temperature of liquid. In this paper, an ARM7 (LPC2214) based temperature measurement and control system is designed. It not only is a low-cost system but can provide satisfying performance. Several universal interfaces are designed on the PCB board (e.g. CAN, LCD, key board, SD card and UART). The system is composed of three modules, i.e. temperature measurement module, micro-processor module, and temperature controller module. The temperature measurement module consists of two serial Pt100 resistances and a 24-bit A/D converter, and it consequently assures the system with high resolution. The temperature controller module consists of a 16-bit D/A converter and a LM1875.A Fuzzy-PID algorithm is an algorithm that derivers from traditional PID algorithm. It has inherited the characteristics of a traditional PID algorithm. Furthermore, it is also a robust algorithm. Therefore, it will increase the performance of a temperature controller if a Fuzzy-PID algorithm is adopted. A detail analysis about this designed system based on the experiment data is given last.
