Design And Implementation Of Electronic Operation And Maintenance Process Platform Based On Workflow

With the development of communications infrastructure and communication facilities, the competitions of domestic telecommunications market become more and more intensive and the increasing business processes become more complex. In earlier period of electronic operation maintenance system, the developer wrote codes to carry out the business process, which resulted in the business processing codes and the business function codes are mixed mutually, made the control logic of the system become misty and the realization of the function of the system was also more complicated. And if the business process has a little bit changes, the developer would have to write codes over again. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a set of effective process management system which used to manage and supervise the more and more complicated processes. So process platform of electronic operation and maintenance system emerged. It is a workflow management system that aimed at the business processes of the telecommunication enterprise and accorded with the standard of Workflow Management Coalition (WFMC). It realizes several standard business processing in the field of telecommunication, packages the standard workflow engine at the bottom. It can complete the new business process quickly and conveniently.The author suggests two main components in the designing of the platform combined with the actual business demand, which is Web applications and workflow engine. Web Application mainly completed some functions such as intercommunion between system and users, business data management and so on. It was developed based on Struts frame. Flow engine imported the third-party workflow engine, OSWorkflow, realized flow control and task management, which was developed based on the standard of WFMC. Meanwhile, during the designing of Web Application Module, the template method pattern is used, which can be made to maximize code reuse. Hibernate framework used for data persistence of the operation, which simplifies the database access code. At the end of the paper, the author conclude the project experience and introduce the effect assessment. The whole platform includes about 119 categories and more than 30,000 lines.
