Along with the construction of information system and the transition from the management of remote area such as oil field to information management, it is important to realize a platform of video monitor system to strengthen the Integration management of the remote area which is hard to access by people. Its aim is to realize the automatic data source collection by real-time monitor system; transmit the date to the real-time database in the monitor center via public network and Internet automatically; provide the open data platform to all kinds of management departments, which makes it possible for the managers to get and control the field situation. This system can finish the whole management process automatically, analyze and process the real-time data, and control the video monitor terminal remotely when necessary, which provide the key evidence of work process going smoothly.In this thesis, wireless video monitor terminal is designed based on CDMA 1X network. There are three parts mainly in this production: video capture and compress module, wireless data transmission module and ARM control module.The video capture and compress module takes charge of capturing video signal from camera and compress it; ARM chip transmits data after compressing to the wireless transmission module, comfits other two modules and adjusts the monitor region according to the commands transported from the control center; wireless transmission module is responsible for transmitting video data to base station through CDMA 1X wireless network and receiving the controlling information for the terminal. The base station transports video data from terminal to Internet and then to monitor center for processing. Oppositely, the center could configure the terminal if needed. This product integrates CDMA data communication service and digital video encoding function. The picture from camera is compressed by video compress module, and transmitted by the antenna to CDMA network. There's also something designed according to user demands, such as control operation for pan. This product realizes functions of interactive, receiving and sending video data, and transmitting real-time and dynamic picture to the nearest CDMA 1X network. Finally, users can receive the video information from control center through Internet network. It takes advantages of both CDMA network and Internet.The work has been done in my thesis are:1. Based on the development of video monitor terminal and the key techniques, analyzed the foreground of this product.2. Introduce the summary of hardware framework. Analyze the characteristics of every modules. And give some advices during the hardware design of this product.3. Combined with the patent of "A method used in CDMA 1X wireless video monitor", outline the main processes in this product.
