Research And Implementation Of A Cooperative Design System For Virtual Museum

In the 21st century, the whole world is raising one "information digitization" upsurge. In this upsurge, the Digital Library and the Digital Museum development is especially rapid. Various countries are constructing Digital Museum actively. Besides traditional functions like reservation, research, demonstration and education, Digital Museum strengthens functions of knowledge share and the education dissemination. The Digital Museum has mainly included digital management and the digital virtual reality. This thesis is an implement of the digital virtual reality.Our works introduced in this thesis are based on the "modern telenet learning on-line public resource construction university digit museum construction project—The Shandong University archaeology digit museum" and "digit museum on the mass data processing grid's archaeology (the ChinaGrid plan)". This thesis constructs a framework of Cooperative Designing System of Virtual Museum and implements it. And there is some research on the key problems of the Computer Supported Cooperative Design(CSCD). The main works of this thesis are:1) This thesis introduces a method of cooperative designing virtual museum. We use Voronoi diagram to divide the museum's virtual scene, build the model and organize data. This method can solve some problems in the virtual scene such as distance computing, collision detecting, path planning, visibility computing and illumination computing.2) Aiming at roles management, user awareness, concurrency control and consistency maintenance which are the key fields of CSCD, we make some research. And we propose the solution and models for the four problems and carry on the analysis to the plans.3) Implement the prototype of the virtual museum cooperative designing system. The implementation proves that the method cooperative designing virtual museum is correct and effective.
