Cellular mobile communication system is an advanced and the best framework in current communication networks, and it now takes predominant positions. In fact, delimitation of the regular hexagon in cellular radio communication is special kind of Voronoi diagram with its sites distributed evenly. Many drawing methods of Voronoi diagram exist in subject of computational geometry, However, they still have shortcoming in real practice, such as:The boundary determination of border sitesDelimitation of site not cellThis paper improves Delaunay algorithms to achieve Voronoi algorithm indirectly, and improves such traditional algorithms to adapt to real practice, describes the applications of Voronoi diagram for mobile network optimizing as following:The initial display of Base StationChoice of wireless electric signal test pointCapacity estimationAdding new Sitescontour line of Base Station electromagnetism estimation densityBasing on the view of project and using the object-oriented technology, encapsulates the applications of Voronoi diagram into function module, and develops the Voronoi subsystem of IDSS combining with the Maplnfo geographical information system and the MySQL database system.
