The Online Examination System Based On J2EE

Network education has become one tendency of the modern education development. But test is an important constituent of education. Education's network requests the test's network inevitably. The computer test on network has catered to the tendency of present society's network. It will certainly become one essential test way.This paper first introduced the appearance of network test and analyzed the research significance of test system. It carried on the comparison to the domestic and foreign present researching situation about network test system. It also elaborated the network test's essential target as well as its characteristic.This paper provides an online examination system with simple and useful functions. The system is mainly for public institutions and enterprises to assist their daily training and assessment, and has a good prospect of application for large-scale examination.The users using this system can add, modify and inquire such test questions as judgement, filling, choosing and discussion, and manually or automatically group test papers, so as to realize the true no-paper examination. Any authenticated student is able to test himself at any time and in any place, and the system will then show him the evaluation of accomplishment. This system helps minimize the teachers' repective tasks as setting grouping and grading papers.The paper also applies such technologies as J2EE, MVC, three-tier structure, and O/R Mapping to develop a small system based on B/S architecture.
