Design And Implementation Of Online Examination System

These years, for the rapid development of internet in China, informatization and webbased service are more and more popular to be used in many fields. Under this circumstance, educational development strategy based on internet service also becomes a very important issue. Meanwhile, with the number of colleage students sharply increasing, online examination system is becoming a main trend in the furture. This paper is talking about how to explore an online examination system based on J2 EE platform according to the demand of school assessing project, in order to improve the standardization and efficiency in teaching management.Combined with the basic principles and application methods of software engineering, this paper analyzes the demand of user functions, and then plan to do the modeling with UML. This paper has an integrated design including architectural design and functional structure design. There are three subsystems: the administrator subsystem, the teacher subsystem and the examinee subsystem. These three subsystems are all designed in particularly.In the section of system implementation, there are many parts as follow: the selection of exploitation environment; the accessment of system database; the realization of main function modules, key codes of modules and so on; the introduction of system interfacial design. Finally, this system will be tested integrately. This paper will analyze test results and prove that this system achieves the goal and it is satisfied.This kind of online examination system showed in paper has many advantages like friendly system interface, convenient operation and stability. It offers a good way in normal examinations and it is good for paperless examination project. This system is fully functional, practical and flexible. Besides, with the internet technology updating, there will be some similar system explored in the future, so this system can be a reference and do some good.
