| From Nov, 1998, when the Digital TV Terrestrial Broadcasting (DTTB) was transmitted in the North America and the Europe, it has been accepted by many countries. After deeply researching the popular 3 protocols in this field (America ATSC system, Europe DVB-T system, Japan ISDB-T system), China has learned some experiences. With the national HDTV situation and the latest development and demand in the communication technologies, China put forward a unique transmitting protocol named DMB-TH in the DTTB field.In the circumstances, many companies developed different TV receivers to different DTTB protocols, while these products had some drawbacks. For example, DTV-8901(UNIFY) is base on DVB-T and USB1.0, which means the speed of the Transmitting Streams is limited by the interface of the computer. Some others are based on PCI interface, which do not support P&P, thus, it is uncomfortable to use. To make sure the mobile terminals and portable facilities can receive the DMB-TH TV programs, the Digital Center in Telecommunication School of Tianjin University planned to develop a Digital TV receiving card based on USB2.0, which is a new structure. The card is small and supports the common digital TV functions by linking to the PC and the Notebook computer to compose a Digital TV terrestrial receiving system.This dissertation introduces the system design of the receiving card, the hardware resources used in the project, the USB2.0 protocol, the software developing platform based on C++ Builder 6.0, the code structure and decoding of MPEG-2 TS and the system debug. Especially, this paper introduces the features of the USB2.0 control chip Cypress CY7C68013-A and the firmware developing process based on Keil-C51, the communicating module developed by C++ Builder between the USB controller and the PC and the code structure and demultiplexing of MPEG-2 TS.The receiving card can transfer the data to the PC by the USB2.0. The pictures can be presented by decoding the TS in the PC. |
