Digital TV receiving system as an important part of the digital television system, the signal received by the satellite launch, the coaxial cable transmission, ground air communication,let the operators can provide a variety of services to the terminal user. Terrestrial digital TV receiving system, which as a kind of the most common digital TV receiving system, is an important role in practical use. And the second generation terrestrial digital TV receiving system, as a new technology, has solve some technical bottlenecks and problems in practice of existing systems. At the same time, with the popularity of the network, and to achieve a variety of rich and colorful services, operators in order to follow the trend of the times, providing better service to the users, the digital TV receiving system network function put forward integration requirements. Analyzing on the system integrating the second generation terrestrial digital TV receiving system and network application, has a wide range of research and commercial applications.This thesis first describes the DVB-T2 digital TV receiving system characteristics and development of domestic and foreign, and then analyzes the key technologies of set-top boxes and related protocol standard. Then analyzes the overall framework of the system, according the information of the market collecting and the user feedback,and according the requirements of program running also, sorting out the system requirements and complete, clear the research object of this thesis. Based on the system requirements, completed the selection of chip design scheme, the hardware platform design,software architecture, and the implementation of test case. Finally, based on the existing hardware platform, from the view of software development, according to the method of software engineering, plans the overall structure of the receiving system, designs and implements the embedded Linux operating system, the front-end receiver module, the basic function module of the set-top box system, network module etc, designs and implements the second generation terrestrial digital TV receiving system.This set-top box base on the Linux operating system, DVB-T2 receiver technology and network technology,outputs on the display machine, in a variety of equipment for the the service is multimedia of the audio and video, the relevant information, it is a kind of electronic products for the end user.
