USB Receiving System Of Terrestrial Digital TV Based On DMB-T

DMB-T (Terrestrial Digital Multimedia/TV Broadcasting) is the standard of our country for terrestrial digital TV broadcasting. At present, in China it is the time to develop DTV (Digital Television), so the application of DMB has a bright future.The DMB-T digital TV receiving system based on USB2.0 is introduced in this paper. The DMB-T tuner and demodulator, LGS-8222-A1 of ASIC, Cyclone3T100, High-Speed Universal Serial Bus interface device ADM8515 and technology of decoding and playing with software in PC are adopted. The aim of this article is to develop a method to transfer digital video and audio of MPEG-2 format to personal computer, and play on it at the real time. The content includes hardware design and software design. The hardware design mainly completes the data receiving and TS (Transport Stream) demultiplexing and filtering. The software design part mainly completes USB driver based on WMD, NDIS5.0 network driver and application software development. The design is reasonable, with low cost and high efficiency, and easy to realize.
